The Powell River Blueway Trail Action Plan was developed by the Powell River Tourism Committee of te Claiborne County Tourism Commission under a grant from the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development. The purpose of the Plan is to inventory existing public access points onto the Powell River in Northeast Tennessee abd to plan for improved access onto, and public knowledge .about, the Powell River. It was adopted by the Claiborne County Tourism Commission in December 2018. A copy of the Plan is presented below. A downloadable pdf is here.
