Quality of River Access: Gradual sloping bank to river. River is mostly slack here so you can put in and then paddle back to this same access. River levels here are affected by Norris Lake reservoir levels: in the Summer generally higher and in the Winter generally lower.

Caution: There has been some reported vandalism at this site, so don't leave any valuables in your vehicle.

Driving Directions: From Highway 33 south of new Tazewell, take Mountain Road north for 1.5 miles, then turn right to stay on Mountain Road for another 1.2 miles, then turn right onto Clouds Road for 0.4 miles, then turn left onto Cupp Ridge Road for 0.5 miles, then turn right onto Daniel Hollow Road for 1.9 miles, then turn left onto Lonesome Valley Road for 1.3 miles to access.
